How to choose a phone
Before you buy a phone, think about how you will use it. Do you want to store lots of telephone numbers on it? Do you want internet access or to use fax and email services?
Also, think about your own lifestyle. For example, if you work in industry, you will probably want a strong phone that is more resistant to water. Or you might want a small phone that looks good when you are in your office.
Here are some points you might like to think about before you choose a phone.
Fax and email
If you want to use your phone for fax and email services, check that the phone you're interested in supports them.
Internet access
The same applies to internet services. These usually send information to your phone like news, stock market prices and sports results. Again, check whether the phone you're interested in supports these services.
Size
Choose a phone that suits your lifestyle. Some phones are bigger than others, but are more shockproof and water resistant. Other phones are small but more fragile. Also, if you have large hands, you might find a small phone difficult to use.
Storing telephone numbers
If you want to store lots of people's telephone numbers, choose a phone that lets you store numbers both on the SIM card and on the phone itself.
Work. Or play.
